VP of Engineering

Mobility is in my DNA. I’ve had the honor of architecting, building, and leading teams for mobile and IoT products used by millions of people that have impacted consumers around the world.

I’m currently the VP of Engineering at Foxbox Digital where I lead client architecture and manage our growing global engineering team.

Prior to Foxbox Digital, I had the opportunity to lead products and build software for some incredible companies.

As the Architect of McDonald’s US consumer mobile apps for iOS and Android, I led a team of 15 engineers. The apps currently have over 600,000 combined ratings on the Apple and Google Play stores with a 4.5 average rating in the Apple store. That’s a lot of happy customers :).

I worked for Motorola for 14 years as a Principal Staff Software Engineer for their mobility practice, starting many years before the iPhone was released, created two patents, and was an engineer on one of the first Android phones.

I was responsible for the first Android application and embedded development of the Wink Relay Product (Home Automation) and built the first iOS and Android Apps for a medical company, LifeEar, which controls smart hearing aids through mobile. Both of these companies were early innovators in their respective spaces and the technologies we built were first of their kind.

I was also responsible for leading mobile products for government agencies, including Android, iOS, and .Net applications. That is where I learned the intricacies of balancing government regulations and usability.

Interesting facts

I own two software/hardware mobile patents. One is a system to increase the accuracy of touch screens, and the other is a system to manage your mobile device on multiple platforms.

My career goal is to always innovate and improve people’s lives using emerging tech. I enjoy managing and mentoring engineers and guide them on how to be better in their careers.

I’ve had the honor of working in multiple industries: Telecommunication, IoT, Healthcare, E-commerce, and Government.

P.S. I’m hiring. I'm always looking for talented Software Engineers to add to our growing team.
